Processing time for registering for health insurance

We are receiving a large number of applications, resulting in a current processing time of 60 days. We recommend that you take out private insurance to cover this period. To register for health insurance, extend your stay in Québec or inform us of a prolonged absence from Québec, make a telephone appointment.

  • Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: Closed

Our telephone service is unavailable during statutory holidays.
