Certain services are available by appointment only at our Montréal and Québec reception desks. No one without an appointment will be seen. Accessibility

Web accessibility provides an optimal browsing and interaction experience to anyone wishing to access available contents and services. We make our website accessible to persons who are impaired or have difficulty accessing our contents, in keeping with the Québec government website accessibility standards.

Web accessibility also allows:

  • colour-blind persons to distinguish colours
  • persons with poor language skills to better understand texts
  • seniors to easily use the website

Checking for accessibility

We use the following tools to check the accessibility of our website:

  • NonVisual Desktop Acces (NVDA), version 2019.1.1
  • Mozilla Firefox, version 72.0.2

In certain cases, we are unable to partially or fully meet accessibility standards:

  • The RAMQ abbreviation (this is the name of the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec)
  • The service point search tool

  • Downloadable documents

  • Dynamic maps
  • Complex tables

Our website is generally compatible with all recent browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Internet Explorer 11), regardless of the platform used (Mac, Linux, Windows, etc.).
