2024-2025 summary and 2025-2026 update of the 2024-2027 action plan regarding persons with disabilities (French only)

October 17, 2025 – Here is the first summary of the Plan d’action à l’égard des personnes handicapées 2024-2027. This review covers the year 2024-2025 and presents the results achieved as of March 31, 2025.

Here are a few of our achievements over the past year:

• Continuation of efforts to simplify the services offered by RAMQ to persons with disabilities under the program regarding compression garments used to treat lymphedema and the devices that compensate for a physical deficiency program
• Continuation of efforts with the Office des personnes handicapées du Québec to simplify the process of accessing programs for persons with disabilities and their families.
• Accessibility audit carried out for the new online service Advance Request for Medical Aid in Dying and for the website (Citizens and Professionnels sections)
• Revision of denial letters for technical aid programs completed to improve understanding of communications regarding programs and eligibility criteria
• Tour of workplaces carried out with two disabled persons in order to identify any obstacles present and correct them where possible
• Participation of 7% of staff with disabilities in the RAMQ employee experience initiative

The Plan d’action à l’égard des personnes handicapées 2024-2027 has been updated for the year 2025-2026. In addition to the actions currently underway or ongoing, two new actions have been added for the coming year.
