Retroactive reimbursement of custom-made stockings

A correction has been made to the maximum amounts covered for the purchase of custom-made thigh-high or knee-high stockings. If you are the liquidator of the succession of a deceased person who purchased one of these types of stockings between August 22, 2018, and January 21, 2022, you may be able to obtain a reimbursement of the amount overpaid.

Garments subject to a reimbursement

The garments concerned are the following:

  • Custom-made knee-high stocking, open or closed toe
  • Custom-made thigh-high stocking, open or closed toe

Who can obtain a reimbursement?

Information about the deceased's retroactive reimbursement file can only be obtained by the person responsible for the succession or the heir. You must be able to prove that you are the liquidator of the succession. No information about a deceased person's file can be released without this proof.

Please refer to the table Deceased persons entitled to a reimbursement to ensure that the date of death of the person who purchased one of the garments mentioned is included and to determine the amount due to them.
