Being outside Québec for 183 days or more, consecutive or not, during any one calendar year may terminate your Health Insurance Plan coverage for all 12 months of that year. Before leaving, contact us to check whether you will remain covered!

Prescription Drug Insurance

In Québec, you must be covered by prescription drug insurance at all times. If you are eligible for a private plan, you must join that plan and provide coverage for your spouse and your children, if applicable. Otherwise, you must register for the public plan.
