Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan – The premium is still less than it was on July 1 2010

As of July 1, 2012, the maximum annual premium paid by persons covered by the Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan will be $579. The amount marks a 2.9% increase compared to last year, yet it is less than the $600 amount of 2010. Some people will see their premium for pharmacy drug purchases increase, while others will not be affected by the changes.
