2011
The Régie awarded Healthy Enterprise certification by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec
On December 13, 2011, the Régie—one of the first ever public agencies to receive the distinction—was awarded Healthy Enterprise certification. The certification acknowledges the efforts of those employers whose organizational practices foster sustained improvement of their employees' health.
The Régie is convinced that healthy and mobilized staff contribute to an organization's performance and to the quality of services it offers. Accordingly, as part of its 2009-2013 strategic plan, the Régie committed to providing its employees with a stimulating and motivating workplace environment. This was done in areas such as management, workplace environment, work/life balance and lifestyle, and the Régie was rewarded for its efforts with the seal of approval.
Congratulations to the Healthy Enterprise committee for their involvement!

The Régie is proud to have won the 2008 Mérite AAPI for the quality of its in-house awareness campaign regarding the protection of personal information and information security, held in October 2007. On May 29, 2004, the Régie received an Octas award in the category "Affaires électroniques interentreprises (B2B)" for the TIP-I project, carried out in partnership with Microsoft and DMR Conseil for the purpose of modernizing payment telecommunications. With the completion of this project, 50 million physician claims per year - the anticipated volume - can now be transmitted to the Régie on line. At the Octas Gala evening, 21 awards were presented in various categories. In addition, the TIP-I project has been nominated for the Octas de l'Excellence award, along with 3 other finalists selected from among the evening's award winners.
Octas award winners are chosen by the Fédération de l'informatique du Québec from among candidates (organizations, companies and individuals) who have made noteworthy contributions to the evolution of information technologies.
In 1997, the Régie received an Octas award in the category "Technologie, 201 employés ou plus" and the following year was presented with another Octas in the same category, for its "Priority: Service" project. In 2004, the Régie is proud to receive its third Octas, for the TIP-I project.

Prix Hommage 1998
On February 17, 1998, the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec was awarded the Prix Hommage 98, in the large organizations category, for its "Autoben" project.
Designed to significantly enhance the Régie's client service capabilities, the Autoben project is a technological solution directly related to the Régie's role as a database administrator - a role the Régie plans to further develop in the coming years. The Autoben project has resulted in the implementation of a new system that makes it possible to continuously update the Régie's registry of more than 7 million insured persons, to issue Health Insurance Cards within a shorter time-frame, and to simplify procedures for the public, while at the same time complying with the requirements of the applicable laws and regulations.
The "Hommage" competition, introduced in 1998 by the ministère de l'Industrie, du Commerce, de la Science et de la Technologie, contributes to promoting excellence in the area of public and parapublic sector administration.
