Computerworld Smithsonian Medal

Since 1989, the Smithsonian Institute has recognized the performance of individuals, government agencies and non-profit organizations in the area of information technologies. At a ceremony held in Washington D.C. in April 2000, the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec was awarded the Computerworld Smithsonian Medal in the category "Government and Non-Profit Organizations," for the exceptional quality of its CIP project.

The text of the Régie's candidacy for the Computerworld Smithsonian Program may be consulted at the public research center of the National Museum of American History in Washington, which houses the collection of all major technology projects.
