Sustainable development

The Régie's Plan d'action de développement durable 2009–2013 (2009-2013 sustainable development action plan) was drafted in accordance with the Sustainable Development Act This link will open in a new window. , sanctioned in April 2006. The plan sets out the type of actions undertaken and the progress made as part of the Government Sustainable Development Strategy 2008–2013, which came into effect on January 1, 2008. Those actions will gradually ensure the implementation of the government strategy.

The Régie wishes to fulfil its obligations by banking on its assets in order to continue improving current environmental management measures, while implementing a number of new initiatives.
