Visual Devices – Procedure to Follow

To benefit from the program, you must:

  • apply to one of the twelve accredited centres that have signed an agreement with the Régie;
  • present your Health Insurance Card, which must be valid;
  • take training at one of the twelve accredited centres.

Please note

The cost of purchasing, replacing and repairing visual devices is reimbursed by the Régie to the accredited centres that loan and service them.

Important

The cost of replacing visual devices that are lost, stolen or destroyed, and the cost of repairing visual devices used negligently, must be paid by the user.

All visual devices no longer in use must be returned to the centre that loaned them.

For further details on the obligations related to loaned visual devices, consult the guide entitled What You Need To Know About the Visual Aids Loaned to You.
