Surgery for the radical removal of a suburethral sling
The program respecting surgical services for the radical removal of a suburethral sling rendered outside Québec provides financial assistance to women having obtained these services between October 1, 2018, and February 28, 2021. The deadline for applying for assistance under this program was February 28, 2022. Partial reimbursement of the fees paid outside Québec may be offered by RAMQ, under certain conditions.
Reimbursement of services received outside Québec
If you have undergone surgery for the radical removal of a suburethral sling outside Québec after February 28, 2021, we may reimburse you partially for medical services received. Services offered in Québec
Since March 1, 2021, reference centres have been designated in Québec to support women who have complications and side effects following the placement of a suburethral sling. To find out more, refer to the page Pelvic Health Program on the Québec.ca website.
